It is very important to care for yourself both before and after a colonic irrigation session, which is why we have put together the following tips on how to prepare for your colonic hydrotherapy treatment.

Dietary recommendations before & after a colonic hydrotherapy session
Before a Colonic Irrigation session, it may be more comfortable to refrain from eating at least two hours before your scheduled appointment. For the best results, prepare a diet of vegetables and grains while also being sure to drink plenty of water. To ensure the best results, we recommend avoiding red meat.
After receiving Colonic Hydrotherapy, we feel it’s important to:
Drink plenty of liquids (purified or distilled water, juices, herbal teas, and
Eat pureed food for 24 hours after each session (blended soups are
Avoid eating raw vegetables for a couple of days. Steamed vegetables
and raw fruit are sufficient, but be sure to chew very thoroughly.
Reduce meat consumption (especially beef, pork and chicken).
After a session, how might I expect to feel?
After a session, most people remark on how clean and light they feel. You may also experience feelings of increased energy and a general sense of well-being.
Following a large intestinal cleansing, the body may also feel weary or relaxed. This is simply your body’s way of adjusting and adapting after a cleaning period. As such, getting proper rest is of the utmost importance so your body can rejuvenate. After your session, the therapist will provide you with printed dietary suggestions for you to follow.
